Last week, a focus group on the theme “Longevity in the Workplace” was held at Confindustria Bergamo. The event was organised by the Centre for Healthy Longevity (CHL) of the University of Bergamo, with the participation of Professors Chiara Cimini and Viviana Meschitti representing UniBg, alongside ten local companies, the Intellimech Consortium, and Confindustria Bergamo.

“This was an important opportunity for dialogue,” Professors Cimini and Meschitti emphasised, “to identify key themes that the CHL will focus on in the coming months, with the aim of promoting more inclusive workplaces that value professional longevity and foster intergenerational collaboration. We hope this first step will contribute to building a local ecosystem of research and innovation on the theme of longevity, capable of providing concrete support to companies as they face the challenges of active ageing and intergenerational integration.”
