The CHL outlines research and intervention proposals declined not only according to a logic of service dedicated to the elderly but, and above all, in tune with a perspective of innovation (technological, social and cultural) to guarantee a healthy longevity and orientation to the next-future old generations.
Through its research, the CHL aims to optimise and support the ageing and health trajectories of the aged and ageing population through highly innovative proposals for everyday and working environments.
CHL therefore proposes basic and applied research aimed at improving multidisciplinary theoretical models of healthy longevity by understanding the biological, psychological, social-cultural, and contextual dimensions of ageing, and of the different health conditions associated with it.
It also aims to define new scenarios within which health can become possible, providing new opportunities for people to fully express their entire life trajectory.
