The CUS Bergamo (University Sports Center) project, “AFA OVER 65,” promotes preventive and adapted exercise for people over 65 with limited autonomy, chronic illnesses, or disabilities. The goal is to combat hypomobility, encourage socialization, promote a healthier lifestyle, and prevent falls through tailored exercises designed to meet the specific needs of this age group.

In collaboration with the University of Bergamo, a study has been developed to evaluate the program's effectiveness from both a motor and psychological perspective. The results of this work have already led to the publication of a scientific article, contributing to the understanding of the relationship between physical activity, quality of life, and cognitive skills in people over 65.
